Experienced Developer Required (ASP.NET)

Big Red are looking for an experienced, creative and self-motivated .Net Developer to join our team and work within our group of well-connected companies. This position represents a great opportunity for an experienced candidate who will be given the opportunity to improve existing technical skills and to learn and implement new and emerging technologies. You will work on the expansion and development of our own CMS based platform.

The successful candidate will be well organised with excellent development and testing skills. A positive 'can-do' attitude is a must.

Required Skills

- 2+ years in developing web applications with ASP.NET, VB, .NET Webforms, MS SQL
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery
- BSc in Computer Science (or other relevant numerate degree)
- The ability to work unsupervised if/when required
- A general interest in technology and a desire to continually develop new skills and keep up with new technologies
- An eye for design and experience of working with a creative team
- Responsive web design 
- Be able to work to deadlines and within budget
- Ability to give realistic estimates of timescales for work
- Understand how to manage and maintain, scalable and cross browser, compliant code

- General knowledge of eCommerce
 
You will be expected to bring your own perspective and experience to every project you are involved in, offering creative thinking and dynamic solutions to help produce work which exceeds senior management and client expectations.
