Big Red Digital CEO Collects OBE

Chic McSherry OBE

You may have seen our article back in June from when the Queen's birthday honours list was announced. We were delighted to share with you that our CEO, Chic McSherry was to receive the OBE. The positive feedback and best wishes that Chic received following that were much appreciated. So, we thought we'd share this quick update to show him receiving the award from HRH The Princess Royal.

After his first visit to Buckingham Palace last month, Chic said, “It was a fantastic day, they treated us really well. Princess Anne had obviously done her research on all the recipients because during our short chat she thanked me directly for the work I've done, mentioning specifics. To cap it all off, when I sat down after receiving the OBE, the small orchestra that were in the room broke into one of my favourite songs 'Don't Stop Believing'. I don't know if that was planned or not, but it was pretty special”.

Chic's award was given in recognition of the incredible work that Chic does in Business education and services to the small business sector in Scotland.
