In business, the sales process can sometimes be a long and drawn-out affair. Much time is invested by both supplier and prospect in preparing and reviewing proposals, discussing possibilities, getting the board's seal of approval, going back and forth on fine details... At Big Red Digital, we never lose sight of the fact that, for our client, the sale begins as soon as they sign the order.

This isn't something that many digital companies put much focus on. In fact, we consider ourselves fairly unique in our industry in our implementation process. When a client has demonstrated their commitment to work with us, we get in touch straight away to arrange a scoping and implementation meeting. This meeting maps the way for any agreed project and allows us to document important details, learn more about their marketplace and to set realistic goals and timescales.

An implementation meeting can be carried out at our client's premises (or via video conferencing if travel is an issue) with a senior member of our staff who will drive the agenda and maximise any agreed meeting time. In order to focus in on what's important, we produce a working document that is designed to gather all of the relevant information required to progress a successful website design or software development project.

Following the implementation meeting, we produce and share a document with our client so that they can refer to it as a blueprint throughout the duration of the project. The Big Red web design and development team also refer to the same document throughout the project. This means that details which are seemingly minor, yet have potential to slow things down, have already been covered. Questions such as, 'who has access to your domain name control panel?', 'do you have a set of brand guidelines you'd like us to follow'.
